Which group should I join?

This is a no-drop ride with Level 1, level 2 & level 3 options. All ability levels are welcome but you do need to be able to ride comfortably on 2 wheels on dirt and have moderate fitness.

* Level 1:  Beginner to intermediate on single trails / slower pace up & down hills. Green and blue trails

* Level 2: Intermediate to strong intermediate on single trails / moderate fitness. Green, blue & easier black trails

* Level 3: Strong intermediate to advanced on single trails / fast-paced ride (possibly). Green, blue, black & double black trails

Where is OHH?

We will be meeting in the car park on Majors Road. Please note the eastern end of Majors may still be closed up to Adams Rd so you may need to approach from Ocean Blvd/Lonsdale Rd. The entrance to the park is directly north of Adams Rd.

Please arrive 15 minutes early, so you are ready to roll out by 9.30 am.

What to bring

All riders are expected to be self-sufficient. Here are some things you might like to bring/think about:

  • Make sure your bike is in good working order - bring any spares you might need

  • Wear appropriate clothing (enclosed shoes, comfortable sports clothing)

  • Bring enough water and snacks for the ride! (there is a water fill station at the car park)

  • Bring any relevant medications

  • Prepare for the weather. As a wise Scotsman once said, “Ach, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing”. Think about sunscreen, a rain jacket, a change of clothes, etc.
