Gravity Girls SA is a welcoming, not-for-profit club committed to creating a safe, supportive and fun community for girls who love to mountain bike. We organise club rides, shuttle days, weekenders, events and collaborate on a women focused multi- disciplinary race series.
Here are some of the upcoming events we have planned.

Gravity Girls SA - Social Ride
Join us for an 'all levels' ride at the Kinchina MTB Trails (near Monarto).
This trail location is often overlooked due to its distance from the city, but it is totally worth it. It's always exciting to explore and ride new trails. Kinchina Conservation Park boasts the largest area of native vegetation in the Monarto Crown Lands region.

Which group should I join?
This is a no-drop ride with Level 1, Level 2, & level 3 options. All ability levels are welcome, but you do need to be able to ride comfortably on 2 wheels on dirt and have moderate fitness.
* Level 1: Early intermediate on single trails / slower pace up & down hills. Green and blue trails
* Level 2: Intermediate to strong intermediate on single trails / moderate fitness. Green, blue & easier black trails
* Level 3: Strong intermediate to advanced on single trails / fast-paced ride (possibly). Green, blue, black & double black trails
Where are the Kinchina MTB Trails?
The Kinchina MTB Trails are located within Kinchina Conservation Park on the western outskirts of Murray Bridge.
Meeting Point: Kinchina Hilltop Carpark
Please arrive 10 minutes early, so you are ready to roll out by 10 am.
What to bring
All riders are expected to be self-sufficient. Here are some things you might like to bring/think about:
✔️ A well-maintained bike and any tools/spares you might need
✔️ Mobile phone (ensure you have your ride leader’s number)
✔️ Water, snacks, and any relevant medications
✔️ Weather-appropriate gear (sunscreen, rain jacket, etc.)
Our guides will have some tools, but they’re not responsible for bike repairs. Be prepared to fix your ride if needed!

This progressive women-focused course includes multiple coaching sessions designed to help riders develop better control, cornering, flow and confidence on more challenging terrain.

Looking to build confidence and improve your mountain bike skills in a supportive women’s environment? 🚵♀️
The Women’s Base Skills Course by Head for the Hills is designed for beginner riders or anyone wanting to strengthen their fundamentals. Over 3 sessions, we will focus on key MTB skills, including body position, braking, cornering, balance, and bike control to help riders progress safely and confidently on the trails.
A great opportunity to learn, develop skills, and ride alongside other women in a fun and encouraging atmosphere 💜

Gravity Girls SA - Social Ride
We’re heading north(ish)! Pewsey Vale is tucked away in the beautiful Southern Barossa region, about an hour from the Adelaide CBD. It's one of SA's lesser-known gems, with a network of natural trails, rocky features, and a remote vibe that makes it feel like a bit of an adventure!
Navigating these trails without a local can be tricky, so this is the perfect opportunity to join a guided ride and explore the best of what Pewsey Vale has to offer - with good company and no need to worry about getting lost.

Which group should I join?
This ride is open to Gravity Girls SA Members who are confident riders looking to tackle natural terrain with moderate to strong fitness (e-bikes are welcome - of course!).
Recommended Rider Level: 2 & 3
* Level 1: Early intermediate on single trails / slower pace up & down hills. Green and blue trails
* Level 2: Intermediate to strong intermediate on single trails / moderate fitness. Green, blue & easier black trails

Where are the Pewsey Vale MTB Trails?
The Pewsey Vale mountain bike trails are located in the Pewsey Vale MTB area near Goodchild Road in Flaxman Valley, South Australia, sitting between the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley wine regions.

Join us for a ride at Eagle MTB Park, one of my favourite places to ride! Experience a mix of flow trails, cross-country loops, and some gnarly downhill sections.

Which group should I join?
This ride is for Level 2-3 riders due to the more technical nature of the trails. We will be riding a mixture of trails, including some blue and easier black trails.

Eagle Mountain Bike Park is located on Mt Barker Rd in the suburb of Leawood Gardens, about 12 kilometres southeast of the Adelaide city centre.

Coached Race Recon | DownDuro
We have partnered with Head for the Hills to offer a special coached ‘Race Recon’ Ride to help our members prepare for the upcoming DownDuro event. The session will focus on building confidence on technical trails and helping riders understand and navigate some of the trickier sections of Fox Creek.

The First Woman Ever to Drop at Red Bull Rampage – following freeride mountain biker Robin Goomes as she prepares to compete in one of the most demanding MTB events in the world.
Expect breathtaking expeditions, powerful personal stories, and plenty of adventure inspiration.

Christmas Ride | Pioneer Women’s | Mt Osmond
Our final ride for the year and Christmas celebration, with options for a loop up Chambers Gully or a cruisy ride up Pioneer Women’s trail followed by drinks and nibbles at Mt Osmond, taking in the spectacular views on sunset.
November Shuttle Day + AGM - Fox Creek Bike Park | All Levels
For our 2nd Birthday this year, we are running a big shuttle day at Fox Creek Bike Park! We will also have our gear swap table out, and will hold our AGM. Shuttles will be self-guided, so bring a friend and ride together!

Gravity Girls SA - reccy of the trails at Kersbrook MTB Park for the final Gravity Enduro SA race of the year | Level 2 to 3 ride
Join our ride leaders and Gravity Enduro SA President Cain Branston for a look at the trails at Kersbrook MTB Park ahead of the final Gravity Enduro SA Race of the year, which is to be held on Sunday October 19th.
Have a look at the tracks that are likely to be included in the race and we will run you through what typically happens on a Gravity Enduro SA race day. Don't worry at all if you aren't committed to entering the race - it will be a casual and fun look at the trails and an opportunity to find out more about Gravity Enduro racing.
