What to bring

All riders are expected to be self-sufficient. Here are some things you might like to bring/think about:

  • Make sure your bike is in good working order - bring any spares you might need

  • Wear appropriate clothing (enclosed shoes, comfortable sports clothing)

  • Bring enough water and snacks for the ride!

  • Bring any relevant medications

  • Prepare for the weather. As a wise Scotsman once said, “Ach, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing”. Think about sunscreen, a rain jacket, a change of clothes, etc.
